Southern Specialties Welcomes Katie Johnston to the Team
Southern Specialties announced today Katie Johnston has joined the company as Key Account Manager. Most recently Regional Customer Manager with Chiquita Brands, Ms. Johnston previous responsibilities included managing sales of Fresh Express salads in the Southeastern United States.
“We are excited to have Katie join our team,” said Daryl Johnston, Vice President of Sales for Southern Specialties “her experience, skills and dynamic energy are a great fit for Southern Specialties as we expand our Southern Selects value added line. We continue focused growth of our sales staff with the goal of bringing enhanced value to our diversified customer base.”
Ms. Johnston, who is not related to the V.P. of Sales, will work out of the company’s Pompano Beach, Florida headquarters.
A leading grower and distributor of asparagus, French beans, sugar snap peas, berries and other produce, Southern Specialties also imports and ships produce from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America and South America.
