Trader Joes is expanding its presence in Texas with the debut of a new distribution center; heating up competition for retailers in the region.

The company is set to open its first distribution center in the state later this year, making expansion in the area all the more accessible. Hiring for the distribution center in Irving will begin in roughly 90 days and provide jobs for over 200 workers for the warehouse that may end up serving surrounding states as well, according to Dallas News.
