WASHINGTON, DC - United Fresh’s 2020 BrandStorm™ is fast approaching, and the organization is readying itself for a truly memorable event. Jefferson Davis, President of Competitive Edge, an exhibitor education, consulting, and training firm, is tapped to present and facilitate the new Exhibitor Storm Surge program on Monday, February 10. Davis has been involved in over 200 tradeshows throughout his career, and his roles as a consultant, trainer, speaker, and author, plus his 33 years of exhibiting experience, make him a can’t-miss addition to the event.

John Toner, Vice President, Convention & Industry Collaboration, United Fresh“Exhibiting represents a significant investment of human and financial capital,” said John Toner, Vice President of Convention and Industry Collaboration, United Fresh. “When executed properly, your exhibiting program should deliver measurable value beyond cost. We’re excited to offer exhibiting education through the new Exhibitor Storm Surge, supporting business growth across the fresh produce supply chain.”

Participants of the program will learn tools to improve their tradeshow performance and success

During United Fresh’s fifth annual Exhibitor Storm Surge, an optional program for BrandStorm registrants, attendees will have the chance to participate in hands-on training intended to address critical exhibiting success factors and ways to improve tradeshow performance and results. A panel of United Fresh Convention and Expo exhibitors will also be on hand, offering a chance to learn their strategies for success, and another panel of United Fresh attendees will share their buyer approach to attending trade shows. Once the Exhibitor Storm Surge is completed, attendees will be invited to join all other BrandStorm registrants for the event’s Welcome Reception.

Jefferson Davis, President, Competitive EdgeDavis is an exciting addition to the event, because since 1988, he has been researching how to make tradeshows more profitable and productive. He launched Competitive Edge in 1991, providing exhibitors with consulting and training services to help them improve exhibiting productivity and ROI. According to a press release, over the years his clients have generated over $800 million in combined exhibiting results.

Participation in the Exhibitor Storm Surge is free for companies exhibiting at United Fresh 2020 Convention and Expo, though non-exhibitors will be able to attend for an additional $95. Companies exhibiting in the show can also send a first-time BrandStorm attendee at no cost as part of the 2020 Exhibitor Value Package. Interested parties can register at the event website here.

United Fresh’s BrandStorm will take place in Austin, TX, from February 10-12, 2020, at the University of Texas at Austin’s AT&T Hotel and Conference center.
