Arable Capital Partners Hires Scott Hogan as Vice President
BELLEVLUE, WA - Arable Capital Partners is adding an ample dose of citrus experience to its operations. The company recently announced the addition of Scott Hogan to its executive suite. Scott will serve as Arable’s Vice President at the company’s Bellevue, Washington, office. There, Scott will be responsible for transactional work and due diligence on acquisitions, financial analysis, portfolio management, and assisting in overall investment strategy.
“Arable presents a unique opportunity to join an investment team with strong operating experience and a focus up and down the value chain, which I believe is an ideal formula for this industry,” said Scott in a press release announcing his new position.
Before joining Arable, the company noted in a press release, Scott held a series of executive roles with the Louis Dreyfus Company—a global agribusiness focused across the value chain from farming, processing, logistics, and trading of agriculture commodities. Scott most recently served as President of Louis Dreyfus Citrus, Inc., a citrus processing and packaging subsidiary in Florida, where he held P&L responsibility across three manufacturing sites, sales, fruit procurement, and trading activities, and led the sale of its juice packaging operation.
“Scott is a great fit with the culture we are building at Arable as well as bringing immediate value to our investment process and relevant experience for working with our portfolio companies: Fresh Innovations and Laurel Ag + Water Solutions,” added Derek Yurosek, Managing Director in Arable’s Bakersfield, California, office.
Prior to serving as President of Louis Dreyfus Citrus, Scott held the roles of Vice President, Treasurer, and Head of Business Development for the North American business. In that capacity, Scott led several acquisitions in the agribusiness industry and raised over $2 billion in financing.
Scott also has experience leading investment activities for a family office and has, in the past, worked in investment banking with Merrill Lynch.
“Scott’s experience in agriculture and business operations combined with his finance and investment background makes him a great fit with the Arable model for making investments and providing ongoing strategic value for our portfolio companies,” added Managing Director Greg Richards.
Congratulations, Scott, from all of us at AndNowUKnow.
