John Vena Welcomes William Burr, David Milakeve, and Kelsey Rose to Sales
PHILADELPHIA, PA – John Vena, Inc. is strengthening its sales team with three new hires, including two industry veterans, William Burr and David Milakeve, and recent graduate, Kelsey Rose.

Bringing more than two decades of produce industry experience, William Burr brings a significant amount of knowledge and expertise in retail, sales, procurement, and specialty produce, to his new role as Outside Sales Representative. Prior to joining John Vena, Burr worked as a Regional Merchandiser and Account Manager with Associated Wholesaler, Inc., transitioning into a role in procurement when the company was acquired by C&S Wholesale Grocers.
“I am excited for the opportunity to work with a company that has as long and storied a history as John Vena, Inc.,” Burr said. “The ever changing nature of specialty produce is both exciting and challenging, and I look forward to lending my experiences as we expand and grow our market share.”
David Milakeve, John Vena’s new Director of Production, brings more than twenty years managing produce departments with several retailers, including Shop Rite, Genuaurdi’s, and Whole Foods Market. He will be responsible for overseeing management of John Vena’s growing, packing, and grading facilities.
Kelsey Rose, a recent graduate of St. Joe’s highly regarded Food Marketing program, will be joining the sales team as a Customer Service Representative. She looks forward to developing her career in the produce industry with John Vena.
