Mastronardi Produce named Finalist at PMA

Mastronardi Produce has recently been named a Finalist for the PMA Impact Award, Excellence in Packaging for five of its items:

5. SUNSET® POP Display ready box
“Professionalism breeds excellence and that’s something we like to recognize and reward,” says President & CEO Bryan Silbermann. “The Impact Award gives members a chance to gain recognition as packaging innovators. The award also encourages their industry peers to challenge their own thinking of packaging’s role inmaintaining product quality and safety, in communicating to consumers, and in demonstrating a commitment to the environment and sustainability.”
Out of 61 companies who submitted items for the award, a display of packaging samples from the 30 finalists will be viewable in the Main Lobby of the Anaheim Convention Center. The PMA Impact Award recipients will be announced on Saturday, October 27th during the Breakfast General Session.
In 2010, Mastronardi received a PMA Impact Award for it’s SUNSET® MiMi™ Candy Tomato Multipack.
