Summer Citrus from South Africa Launches “The Sweet Escape Sweepstakes" Promotion; Suhanra Conradie Shares
CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA - If I could escape, and recreate a place as my own world, it’d be a world full of fresh and juicy citrus varieties. Summer Citrus from South Africa (SCSA) is commemorating its 23rd consecutive citrus season with the launch of a new summer promotion. Incentivizing increased citrus purchases, “The Sweet Escape Sweepstakes” will give consumers a chance to one of two $500 Visa gift cards to embark on their own summer getaway.
“We saw an amazing amount of consumer participation in last year’s promotion with this theme, so we brought it back again this season to encourage additional engagement and further elevate demand for our citrus products,” said Suhanra Conradie, Chief Executive Officer of Summer Citrus from South Africa.
Throughout the promotion, SCSA will share inspirational and educational content with consumers, sharing unique ways to incorporate citrus into fresh summer recipes that can be enjoyed with a vacation in mind, according to a press release. In addition, the brand will be utilizing its social media platforms to educate consumers on the superior quality and taste of South African citrus. SCSA will also optimize online advertising to key markets on Facebook and Instagram to encourage shoppers to participate in the sweepstakes.
“This is the seventh year we’ve hosted a consumer-facing promotion during the summer, and with each season, we’ve been able to share why South African citrus is special and continue to further entice shoppers to look for the label in the grocery store when looking for exceptional fruit,” added Conradie.
