HAMILTON, MT - New facilities, new products, and new opportunities are what the Southeast Produce Council’s (SEPC) Southern Innovations is all about. And all three can be found at booth #429.

Aaron Sumption, Senior Vice President of Sales, Local Bounti“Southern Innovations is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our products. One of our facilities is located in Byron, Georgia, and it is the hub of providing to our Southeastern customers, so the location of the show is perfect,” Aaron Sumption, Senior Vice President of Sales for Local Bounti, recently shared with me. Aaron will be on the show floor with colleagues Baltazar Garcia, Vice President of Sales, and Blair Butterworth, Marketing Manager, to showcase the expanding Grab & Go Salad Kits.

The chef-inspired Grab & Go Salad Kit line with two vegetarian-friendly options—Poppy Power and Modern Greek—debuted last year to such resounding success that the line has now doubled to four offerings.

Local Bounti’s Aaron Sumption, Baltazar Garcia, and Blair Butterworth will take to the Southern Innovations show floor to highlight the company’s expanding Grab & Go Salad Kits line

“We have seen positive response to the line, which prompted the debut of two new flavor varieties this summer. Consumers can now find two new kits that feature premium, antibiotic-free white meat chicken: Artisanal Chicken Caesar and Memphis Style BBQ Chicken,” Aaron shared. “By combining the same state-of-the-art growing techniques of our greens with chef-inspired salad flavors, we’re responding to consumer demand to provide tasty, wallet-friendly options that are also a good source of protein. We’re excited to showcase these kits at the show and talk about healthy meal convenience that won’t break the bank.”

All four offerings will be featured at Southern Innovations, allowing buyers to experience them and learn more in person, as well as Local Bounti’s baby leaf lettuce varieties grown out of its Georgia and Montana facilities and its living lettuce items out of California.

The Grab & Go Salad Kits line expanded this summer to include Artisanal Chicken Caesar and Memphis Style BBQ Chicken, in addition to vegetarian-friendly Poppy Power and Modern Greek flavors

As we reported earlier this year, products are not the only space in which Local Bounti is expanding its reach.

“We’re very focused on our two new facilities that are under construction in Texas and Washington, and we’ll be talking about construction progress,” Aaron reminded me as we discussed the additional growth Local Bounti is investing in to further support such strides.

As promised, you can check several boxes on your trade show to-do list by swinging by booth #429 this week in Charlotte, North Carolina, for an SEPC first, September 14–16!
