Produce for Better Health Foundation Hosts Expert Series Webinar on Sustainability, Operational Efficiency, and Innovation
BRENTWOOD, MO - As companies across the fresh produce supply chain are introducing new strategies and initiatives to minimize their environmental footprint, Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) has announced its latest Expert Series Webinar entitled Spreading the Sustainability, Operational Efficiency & Innovation Story: Plant, Packaging, Planet & People Perspectives.
During the session on Tuesday, August 30, at 2 p.m. EST, leaders from the industry will share sustainable practices that their organizations have put in place and efforts to drive quality and innovation, according to a release. The panel will also give insights into how these practices are delivering value and fulfilling consumer demand.
Additionally, panelists will share their own perspectives on delivering safe, affordable, and nutritious produce and answering questions regarding the future of sustainability.
The discussion will be moderated by Wendy Reinhardt Kapsak, MS, RDN, and President and Chief Executive Officer of PBH. Panelists for the event include: Mike Binda, Area President for Virginia and West Virginia, US Foods; Morgan Drummond, Senior Director of Private Brands, Misfits Markets; Frank Muller, Farmer and Owner of Joe Muller and Sons; and Andrew Russick, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, Pacific Coast Producers.
