BROOMALL, PA - We’re kicking off this week with recent reports of a strategic retail expansion. Broomall, Pennsylvania, is the home of the newest Amazon Fresh grocery store, which officially opened last week.

The new store is located on Springfield Road and stands at approximately 40,000 square feet. As noted by a recent press release, the new location features a wide assortment of national brands and high-quality produce, as well as 365 by Whole Foods Market organics, Amazon-exclusive brands like Aplenty and Fresh, and its Fresh Plant-Based products.

While this expansion brings the second Amazon Fresh store to the Pennsylvania market, this will be the first location in the area to include the grocer’s innovative Just Walk Out Shopping technology, which allows customers to skip the checkout line for added convenience.

This service has already become popular in several other key markets that Amazon Fresh serves, as the company implemented this technology through recent expansions in New York and Illinois as well as California and New Jersey.
