Brookshire Grocery Finalizes Acquisition of Reasor's; Brad Brookshire and Jeff Reasor Comment



TYLER, TX - Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) is now the proud owner of more than 200 stores with over 19,000 employee-partners across four states. How, may you ask? With the finalization of its acquisition of Reasor’s. Through a recent agreement with support from the Reasor’s Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), Reasor’s stores are now a new division of Brookshire’s, adding more than 2,000 associates to the retailer’s team.

With the acquisition of Reasor’s, Brookshire’s will build out its regional presence in Oklahoma, positioning the company for future growth, as explained in a release.

Through a recent agreement with support from the Reasor’s Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), Reasor’s stores are now a new division of Brookshire Grocery Co.

Reasor’s will be added to Brookshire’s list of banners that includes Brookshire’s, Super 1 Foods, FRESH by Brookshire’s, and Spring Market, located across Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
