Hy-Vee Acquires Four QuikTrip Convenience Stores in Des Moines Metro
DES MOINES, IA - Fast & Fresh Express, Hy-Vee’s fresh convenience banner, is making quick work of its expansion plans. The retailer recently announced that it acquired four QuickTrip convenience store locations in the Des Moines, Iowa, region. All will be converted to the Fast & Fresh Express locations.
The new stores will offer traditional convenience store offerings, with a focus on fresh fruits and veggies, according to a company press release. For example, the company’s grab-and-go value-added produce line will be available, ensuring that shoppers on the run can get the nutrition they need.
Opening dates for all four locations were not yet provided.
