Okanagan Specialty Fruits' President Neal Carter Shares PMA Foodservice Plans

EASTERN WASHINGTON - As Okanagan Specialty Fruit, the innovative biotechnology company, prepares for its first year of exhibiting at PMA Foodservice, I talked to Neal Carter, President, to find out what the company is bringing to the show.

Neal Carter, President, Okanagan Specialty Fruits“We are looking forward to highlighting both our Arctic® Golden and Arctic Granny fresh slices at our booth and discussing our new 40 oz package option specifically for foodservice. We are also looking forward to participating in the Fresh Ideas Showcase,” Neal said.

The company’s messaging will focus specifically on the benefits that Arctic apples offer the foodservice industry, such as less prep, less waste, and better taste. Due to their non-browning trait, the Arctic apples reduce unnecessary food waste across the supply chain.

Okanagan will be focusing on the benefits that Arctic apples offer the foodservice industry at PMA this year

“Arctic apples stay orchard fresh longer, offering an unparalleled ‘just-picked’ eating experience and create the ability to offer new menu options featuring apples from fruit trays, fruit salads, and charcuterie,” Neal explained. “This will be the first year that our crop’s volume will support expanding into foodservice so exhibiting at the show will be an important first step. We are looking forward to meeting new contacts, establishing partnerships, and educating attendees about the benefits that Arctic apples can offer.”

Stop by booth #720 to learn more about how Arctic apples can add value to your business!
