Starbucks Adds New Vegan Lentils & Vegetables Protein Bowl with Brown Rice to Menu



SEATTLE, WA - The prolific coffee shop which seemingly has a stand on every corner, Starbucks, is boosting its fresh produce offering with the addition of a new vegan-friendly menu option to its menu in select locations.

The new addition includes an ample portion of butternut squash, roasted tomatoes, and sunflower seeds, among other vegetables, served up with lemon-tahini dressing. According to the company website, the bowl is an excellent source of protein, with 23 grams, and boasts more than one cup of fruits and vegetables all while being certified vegan.

The menu item is replacing the Hearty Veggie & Brown Rice Salad Bowl and will be available year-round at select store locations in San Francisco, LA, San Diego, NYC, and D.C.
