Windset Farms® Reveals Brand Refresh and Creative Packaging Approach; Ryan Cherry and John Newell Comment

DELTA, BRITISH COLUMBIA & SANTA MARIA, CA - Refreshed and ready to attract even more consumers, Windset Farms® is shaking up the produce department with its latest brand strategy. The renowned controlled environment agriculture (CEA) provider has unveiled the launch of a creative brand refresh coupled with a sustainable packaging strategy.

Ryan Cherry, Director of Sales, Windset Farms®"We are excited to introduce our brand refresh and innovative packaging approach," said Director of Sales Ryan Cherry. "With a focus on simplicity, elegance, and sustainability, we look forward to continue expanding the Windset brand.”

The new Windset Farms branded packaging will be rolled out across all product lines, beginning this fall. As the company noted in a recent release, the refresh puts the focus back on the star of the show: produce. The addition of a ladybug pays homage to Windset’s sustainable, CEA growing practices, while the prominent Equitable Food Initiative or Fair-Trade logos foster customer trust and reinforce Windset Farms' commitment to social sustainability, food safety, and pest management.

The brand sets out to captivate consumers with a fresh packaging experience and high-quality products such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and various specialty offerings. In addition to the brand refresh, the company continues to offer consumers more sustainable packaging options, including transitioning to monolayer LDPE bags, resulting in 20 percent less plastic used compared to the previous pack style—a change that will reduce plastic consumption by 108,000 lbs a year.

Windset has seen impressive growth since its inception, establishing a strong presence in the greenhouse sector in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

John Newell, Chief Operating Officer, Windset Farms®“The new packaging design gives the brand a touch of maturity, symbolic of the company's growth, while staying true to its original art and music theme,” added Chief Operating Officer John Newell.
