GLENNVILLE, GA - We are looking at another year of success for G&R Farms and its highly impactful Growing America's Farmers (GAF) program. This year alone, the program has raised over $50,000, which will go toward scholarships and grants for Future Farmers of America (FFA) students nationwide.

Blake Dasher, Chief Executive Officer, G&R Farms"We are thrilled to have raised over $50,000 this year for FFA students through our GAF program," Blake Dasher, Chief Executive Officer of G&R Farms, expressed. "It's truly heartwarming to witness the support and commitment of our retail partners, who help us achieve our goals and played a significant role in the success of this program. These funds will go a long way in empowering the next generation of farmers."

This impressive achievement is a testament to the company's commitment to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders, adding to the seven-year total of nearly $400,000 total raised.

Close to the hearts of the G&R Farms team, Growing America's Farmers was established to invest in the future of agriculture by providing financial support to FFA students. As a press release explained, the program stands to help students pursue their educational and career goals in production agriculture.

The successful $50,000-plus donation was made possible through the help of 10 regional and national grocers. These chains teamed up with the onion supplier to support the program, driving awareness around the men and women who grow our food.

Among the retailers to support this impactful promotion was Sam's Club, which supported the initiative and helped contribute over $16,000 to the cause; these funds were generated from a portion of the proceeds from G&R Farms' Vidalia onions sold at participating retailers during the promotion period.

We applaud G&R Farms and its Growing America's Farmers program on another successful year of supporting the ag industry’s next generation.
