DNE World Fruit Adds Premier Citrus Packers and John Stephens, Inc
DNE World Fruit LLC has added two new packing houses in its Florida expansion. The deals included contracts with Premier Citrus Packers, LLC in Vero Beach and John Stephens, Inc. of Frostproof. In a press release, Mark Hanks, VP of Sales and Marketing, said “We are very happy to be working with Premier Citrus Packers again and also very excited about the addition of John Stephens packing house as well.”
The two packing houses combined packed almost 1.5 million cartons of Florida citrus last year. Premier Citrus packed 1 million cartons of Florida grapefruit while John Stephens inc. was able to pack 420,000 cartons of Florida citrus with a mix of tangerines, navels, juice oranges and grapefruit.
