Market Fresh Produce Promotes Shanan Cox to Director of Supply and Distribution
Market Fresh Produce has promoted Shanan Cox to the newly created position of Director of Supply and Distribution. This position, based in the Nixa corporate office, will work very closely with the Director of Field Operations, Tyler Phipps, in the procurement process for Market Fresh, according to a press release.
Shanan will help lead the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) process, as well as manage the Category Management team.
Two years ago, Shanan started as a VMI Specialist at Market Fresh and was quickly promoted to Category Manager of sweet potatoes where she did an outstanding job of building the category sales and improving the service level. “In Shanan’s brief tenure with us, she has proven to be a true leader,” said Mike Kemp, Senior Director of Business Development. “She has a very bright future at Market Fresh as we continue to grow through acquisitions as well as our continued organic sales growth.”
Shanan graduated from Missouri State University where she also earned her M.B.A.
