BAKERSFIELD, CA - Sun World is appointing Clifton Lollar as the company’s Land & Water Transactions Project Manager, located in Fresno, CA. He will be a key coordinating member of the Sun World team that seeks, evaluates and acquires new farmland, and works to optimize the use of the company’s varied portfolio of water supplies, according to a press release.

“Clifton Lollar’s extensive experience in managing local water operations will be of value to Sun World as we continue to bring added focus on land acquisition and efficient use of water assets,” said Dave Dever, Sun World President and CEO. “In working to expand our supply of proprietary varieties, we believe his appointment to our team will help to provide Sun World with the necessary resources for our organizational growth.”

Clifton, a former 11-year Resource Analyst with Kings River Water Association, has administered water rights for the association’s 28 members. He has a wealth of experience ranging from managing river operations to overseeing a variety of regulatory programs.
