With shoppers lending themselves more to the aesthetically pleasing products they find on store shelves, knowing the importance of striking, recognizable branding is key to establishing consumer loyalty. The marketing ace went on to note that, when it comes to generating Brand Love, there is room for growth amongst produce brands that have successfully achieved customer loyalty, as almost 60 percent of consumers admit to “loving” a fresh produce brand, however, struggle to name a second brand that they have an emotional connection with.
The webinar will be led by O’Connell and Nadine Baarstad, Vice President of Client Development, and will focus on the results of the company’s branded study. According to a press release, the research shows there is a significant opportunity for branded produce companies to generate considerably more share within the industry.
As more than half of consumers find it important to shop specific brands in the fresh produce department, as noted in FoodMix’s study, branding is becoming more and more vital to the growth of produce suppliers.
