National Watermelon Promotion Board to Present Findings From Recent Study in Partnership With Armada Corporate Intelligence
WINTER SPRINGS, FL - The National Watermelon Promotion Board (NWPB) is going back in time to assess the impacts of its activities. In partnership with Armada Corporate Intelligence, the organization has sent out an industry-wide invite for interested parties to attend its 2017–2021 Economic Evaluation presentation at 8 a.m. on February 23.
The event will take place during the National Watermelon Convention at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina, a press release shared.
This Econometric Evaluation determines the impact of the NWPB’s activities on watermelon demand and the return on investment (ROI) for the industry. Some of the main findings of the study show the watermelon sector continues to see high returns from the promotion efforts of the organization, and its promotion programs have had a significant impact on the general economy.
As part of the upcoming presentation, attendees will learn more about how advanced modeling techniques look at the supply of watermelon, FOB and retail prices, NWPB budget, and other factors to determine the value the organization provides its stakeholders. Armada will also share current economic conditions and how they will affect the industry going forward.
For those who cannot attend in person, the NWPB will present Economic Evaluation findings from 2017–2021 virtually on March 29 at 1 p.m. EST.
