Earth Month is getting a great team of two. Indianapolis Fruit’s The Produce Mom® has partnered with Earthbound Farm® as an official Earth Month partner, according to a press release. The Produce Mom will be participating in Earthbound’s campaign “Every Cart Counts” and will help promote Earthbound's healthy line of fresh produce. The campaign's mission is to inspire and encourage consumers to shop with a plan, be mindful of packaging, purchase versatile organic foods, minimize food waste, and make use shopping totes instead of paper or plastic bags.
Incentives that include coupons, social media contests, meal planning and recipe sharing will help motivate consumers to make Greener choices in the grocery store.
Lori Taylor, author of The Produce Mom, states, “When other young moms see the “Every Cart Counts” campaign in action on The Produce Mom, it will demonstrate that sustainable, earth-friendly & organic choices are in reach and highly-accessible for the mainstream consumer. Simple modifications to our everyday habits can make a big difference in the well-being of our planet & our bodies.”
Jessica Harris, Trade Marketing Manager for Earthbound Farm, is excited to bring The Produce Mom into the Earth Month campaign, noting, "Consumers really trust The Produce Mom, so it makes sense to deliver our message about the benefits of organic, including quality, sustainability and environmental responsibility with her help."

Earthbound Farm’s “Every Cart Counts” Campaign launched at the beginning of April as promotions on The Produce Mom kicked off this week. The platform includes a Guide to Greener Shopping, in-store Cart Buys at participating retailers, a Virtual Grocery Giveaway, as well as an Earth Week Meal Plan.
