Scout Logistics Sponsors Israeli Women's Softball Team
Scout Logistics has announced that it is sponsoring a women’s softball team in Israel, the “Scout Logistics Lady Tigers.”
President of Scout Logistics Corporation, Lorne Swartz, was approached by longtime friend and teammate Corey Vyner, who had taken it upon himself to introduce the sport of softball to the young ladies of Central Israel. Vyner explained that his team was in need of uniforms and Swartz instantly offered his help.
Within two days, Scout Logistics coordinated the design, purchase, printing and shipping of softball pants, t-shirts, belts and batting gloves.
“It was truly a dedicated, team effort on behalf of the wonderful people at Scout Logistics, the uniforms arrived and were delivered to our front door the following day.” Said Corey Vyner.
On May 31st, 2013 as they took to the field for the National Junior Girls Championships, The Maor Lady Tigers officially became the “Scout Logistics Lady Tigers!” Looking and feeling like real ball players for the first time, the girls played with pride and dignity as they went on to win the Israel Championships.
