Sun World Announces Promotions and Staff Adjustments
Sun World International has announced another round of promotions and staff adjustments. The move is intended to align the company behind what CEO David Dever calls a “world class” business strategy, defined and evaluated by customers.
“We have an ambitious plan to optimize our people, product and portfolio, focus on multi-channel customer strategies, tap technology to optimize our business systems, and embrace and accelerate innovation,” said Dever who was named CEO a year ago.
Natalie Erlendson will serve as Program Marketing Manager; Monica Escoto as Director of Quality Assurance; Claudio Olave as Director of Special Projects and Innovation; Joe Sanchez as Director of Southern Facility Operations; Cecilia Rivera as Customer Service Manager; Rena Soliz as Human Resources Manager; Martin “Sonny” Velazquez as Manager of Employee and Environmental Safety; and Dan Rosas as Manager of Food Safety and Sustainability.
“These promotions reflect the commitment of this company to empower our people and enhance systems to drive continuous improvement,” said Dever.
The company announced in May that it had hired five industry experts, the addition of three new departments, and an acreage expansion of its newest proprietary grape varieties in the Coachella and San Joaquin valleys.
