LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO, CANADA - Growing demand means growing facilities, as Nature Fresh Farms® is demonstrating with the expansion of its footprint in Delta, Ohio. The grower will be building a 60,000-square-foot distribution center featuring high-tech fabrication and automation to better serve customers.

Frank Neufeld, Executive Vice President, Nature Fresh Farms® Sales“With our new 45-acre Organic Strawberry facility set to come online this Fall, our new distribution center will help to accommodate the influx in product, providing simultaneous precision climate regulation of various commodities, advanced monitoring, and modernized product protection measures,” commented Frank Neufeld, Executive Vice President, Nature Fresh Farms Sales.

Through this new distribution center, Nature Fresh is working to meet retailer and consumer demand for fresh, local, and sustainable produce offerings, a release explained. Due to the close proximity of the facility to key markets and advanced technology systems, the grower will provide fresh-picked produce to buyers and shoppers in a faster, more sustainable manner.
