Southeastern Grocers Announces Continued Expansion in 2023; Anthony Hucker Comments



JACKSONVILLE, FL - Southeastern Grocers (SEG) is getting to work in the Sunshine State, as the retailer has announced its plans to continue its Florida expansion into 2023. To spearhead this growth, the company is opening a new North Florida Winn-Dixie location in Jacksonville next year.

Already, SEG has renewed over 70 percent of its stores throughout its Southeast portfolio in order to enhance consumer shopping experiences, a press release noted.

With this new location opening, SEG will continue its forward progress, strengthening its reach in Florida.

Southeastern Grocers continues its Florida expansion in 2023, announcing a new Jacksonville location

This new Jacksonville store will join the newly opened Westlake Winn-Dixie as well as eight new Winn-Dixie locations in Boynton Beach, Fort Myers, Gainesville, Lakewood Ranch, Lake Mary, West Melbourne, and two others in Jacksonville that all opened in 2020. Last fall, the grocer also launched WDs Wine, Beer, and Liquor in Jacksonville, a stand-alone concept that provides a convenient destination for fine wine, craft beer, and quality liquor.
