SALINAS, CA - Ever at the forefront of innovation, Taylor Farms® continues to bring new flavors and eating experiences to the packaged salad set. With its latest value-added addition, the supplier brought its new Watermelon Crunch Chopped Kit to retail shelves as summer demand continues to hike up.

The Watermelon Crunch Chopped kit has a base of fresh Romaine lettuce sprinkled with crimson-colored radicchio, creamy feta cheese, chopped roasted almonds, and toasted watermelon seeds.
With this launch, Taylor Farms continues its mission to bring a complete portfolio of unique chopped salad kits to produce aisles, increasing its portfolio to 24 SKUs. The new kit is now available nationwide both in the U.S. and in Canada.

In the last year, the value-added salad category has grown 15 percent, a press release stated, with more people eating at home and looking for quick and easy-to-prepare meals. Salad kits in particular are up 22 percent versus last year, with Chopped Kits contributing greatly to this growth.
